Knee arthritis refers to the inflammation and degeneration of the knee joint cartilage. Osteoarthritis is the most common form and occurs with age-related wear and tear. Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune condition that can also affect the knee joint. Symptoms include knee pain, stiffness, swelling, limited range of motion, and difficulty with walking or other weight-bearing activities.
Signs and symptoms of “condition”
- Chronic knee pain, often worsens with activity
- Swelling and inflammation of the knee joint
- Stiffness and limited range of motion, particularly in the morning or after periods of rest
